The 2016 TLCV PAC Voter Guide

The pro-conservation votes are marked as positive (+) and anti-conservation votes are marked as negative (-). Absences are marked with an (A) and are counted negatively because it has the same effect as a “no” vote. Excused Absences (EA), Present Not Voting (PNV) and members not voting while serving as Chair are not counted as negative votes.

The Texas League of Conservation Voters-Political Action Committee endorses and works to elect candidates for public office in Texas who are committed to clean air, clean water, and clean energy, and who fight to protect Texas’s parks, beaches and wildlife habitat.

Endorsements of incumbents are based upon their voting record, as well as leadership in committee, caucuses and during floor debate, and vision and determination. In races where the Texas League of Conservation Voters Political Action Committee endorses a challenger or where there is no incumbent, decisions are based on interviews and surveys completed by candidates.

To help TLCV-PAC elect pro-conservation candidates you can donate to the TLCV-PAC here.  Donations are not tax-deductible and are reported to the Texas State Ethics Commission.
