Mark Your Calendar for April 29th: TLCV Fundraiser in Houston with Special Guest Mayor Annise Parker
April 6th, 2010
Please come out to support the Texas League of Conservation Voters on Thursday, April 29th at a fundraising reception hosted by Patsy Cravens with special guest, Houston mayor and conservation champion Annise Parker.
We all know that 2010 is a critical election year for conservation in Texas, and the City of Houston is a key battleground for electing candidates who stand for clean air, clean water, and open spaces. From the proposed White Stallion Coal Plant which would pollute Houston’s air, to protecting Houston’s parks, wetlands, and bays, Houstonians cannot afford officials who are not strong on conservation. By joining us on the 29th, you can become part of the TLCV’s fight to ensure that our state continues to elect legislators who understand the grave importance of preserving our environment and natural resources. To secure your spot or to simply make a contribution, please visit tinyurl.com/TLCVHouston.Thursday, April 29th 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm
